46TH ANNUAL MIDWEST-MIDSOUTH ESTATE PLANNING INSTITUTE
Written by Jim Worthington on July 24, 2019
I’m headed to Lexington, Kentucky for this annual event hosted by the University of Kentucky Office of Continuing Legal Education. The longest-running annual CLE event in the Commonwealth, this year the Institute will be held at the historic Keeneland Racecourse. I’ll be giving my annual Kentucky Case Law & Legislative Update for Estates Planners. During this two-day program, I’ll be joined by great speakers from around the country including my friends Clary Redd from St. Louis, Missouri, and Dana G. Fitzsimons, Jr., of Bessemer Trust in Atlanta, Georgia. The planning committee designs the seminar to cover both common and esoteric topics in estate and trust planning and administration.
There’s still time to register. If you’re not able to attend, mark your calendar for next year’s Institute ― July 30-31, 2020. In the meantime, look to these pages over the next few weeks for new insights I’ve learned at the Institute.
