Kentucky Courts Mostly Closed through April 10, 2020

Chief Justice Minton has issued an emergency order, AdminOrder2020-08ReCOVID-19Emergency, cancelling in-person court appearances for most matters. The order is effective from March 16, 2020 through April 10, 2020. Based on phone calls I’ve made, the circuit court clerks and chief district and circuit court judges will need some time to respond. They have the unenviable task of rescheduling three weeks of hearings without delaying the hearings already scheduled or to be scheduled for April 13, 2020 forward. They will need our patience and our help. Let’s give it to them.
